The formidable figure of Aunty Elsie is one of the few that customers and staff alike always talk about. Perched on stool, Aunty Elsie can be seen at all events diligently orchestrating and conducting her charge with precision and determination concocting the colourful and tasteful dishes that customers have grown to love.
No matter how busy the Uncle G stalls are, the multi-disciplinary Aunty Elsie can be found everywhere in and around the stalls with the biggest smile to match her heart and cooking prowess. Aunty Elsie is ably supported by her many assistants including ‘Mum’s’ Barbara, ‘Mighty’ Liz and ‘Gifted’ Rita.
